Based in Santa Monica, California, our parent company, Theater Instruments, was founded to design and install high-end theaters in upscale homes. Years ago, while on a theatre project site in another state, our technicians were having a particularly difficult time flattening out unexpected flutter echoes. After many telephone calls and a long and unfruitful search on the internet for an acoustic product that they could buy on-line and have shipped out immediately to solve this problem, our technicians finally realized they would have to return another time after locating and obtaining the needed diffuser system.

We found that there was a need to pass along our extensive background knowledge on home theatre products by thoroughly reviewing the many products on the market and then making those that we felt were quality items available to the public through our website.
